Tourqe Converter Drain plug

Does anyone know what the drain plug on the tourqe converter is supposed to be torqued to? I have also read that you can only use the drain plug once. Is this true?
Thanks for the help!

Using it once is B.S. The truck will be a rotting hulk in a junkyard before the threads on the plug wear out.
I don't know the torque nor do I torque mine. I just tighten it with a 7/16" socket and a 3/8" ratchet. I've never had any problems. Don't gorilla it, just make sure it's tight.

Don't over tighten the plug. The problem is the soft metal on the threads, they tend to strip pretty easily. I was able to re-install mine the other day, even thorugh the threads are looking pretty bad. I need to get another one for the next tranny service.
