Deep Pan installed.

I installed a 4" deep extra capacity cast alum pan on an 02 SCREW 4x4.
There is a fit issue to overcome.
The transmission mount includes an exhaust pipe mounting that takes up room between the mount and the heavier wall of the new pan rear rail.
The back gasket lip has a lot of metal such that about an 1/8 " needs to be taken off accross the back edge of the pan until the pan will slip in place.
The original pan has a magnet. Take the magnet and place it over one post in the new pan. These posts are there to ensure the stock filter stays in place.
Use new allen bolts and re-use the factory gasket if not damaged or get a new factory gasket.
The pan used is a MAC from Bren Speed as listed for the 4.6 L AODE/4R70 transmission. Price is right!
