TRailer plug

Im having trrouble with the factory trailer plug...I can get power for my park lights but no signals or brake lights..all the fuses in the cab and under the hood are ok..anyone send me the right direction to locate the problem?

For starters, post this in the correct forum, i.e. the "Towing" Forum. Next. what kind of plug are you using? 4, 6, or 7 pin? Have you applied a test light or meter to see if you're getting power? Have you used jumpers to test the trailer lights or connected to another vehicle to endure that the trailer lights work?

Sorry about posting in the wrong forum my mistake im a newbie I realized what id done after the fact but didnt figure on you scolding me for it though..lol...yea I checked every thing with a meter and test light im gonna go farther back into the harness next..sorry I got your blood pressure up I wont do it again..

Well, if I didn't say it someone else would...
If you don't have power for siganls or brake lights, chances are the is a broken wire(s) somewhere. You offroad a lot? Could be a cause....
