Automatic for I6

Which automatic transmission did Ford put behind the 1973-1979 pickups with the 300 I6? I know they put the 4 spd manual behind it most of the time but di they put the C4 or the C6 behind it for automatic? Or is there a whole nother transmission that they put behind it?

Here is the breakdown from the book for the 300 six motor only
The following could have been used in the Fseries as stated.

C6____78, 79.
FMX__ 74 to 77.

a c4 or a c6, if its post-1980 its definetly a c6

beginning in I think 1986 they started having a AOD as an option but the c6 was still the base automatic
