Today I went to get a smog check and unfortunately it failed, but the error code that I received was that of P0708 Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Hug Input. So i was wondering if there was any way that I could fix it? By the way I have a 1999 Ford Expedition. Where would i find the Sensor circuit? And how would i take it out to fix it? Let me know. Thanks.

 

Try adjusting the mlps first, if not replace it. MLPS=manual lever position sensor aka transmission range sensor.
