220k on 1 clutch?...hard to believe unless...ahhhhhhhhhhhh whatever ...zap!
actually, I once got over 200k on a clutch, but as stated earlier, mostly hiway miles, changed that one when I got back home to the garage and did a late maintenance, may have been able to get more.
most often I get around 100k, then change it out in routine maintenance, pull motor check seals and gaskets and so on. as long as I have it out I change clutch, rear main seals, and trans seal.
shortest on a clutch was about 5k, bought truck with a 'new' clutch in it, nimrods cut the crossover because it was in the way, and banged up the valve cover somehow ended up dumping oil on the clutch
ken.
