ok guru's...is there a site where i can find the procedure on bleeding out my clutch. need to know where the bleeder valve is, recommended fluids, and the general procedure. thanks
dot 3 brake fluid in the little round resivour on firewall. the bleeder is on the left side of tranny right above where the hydaulic line goes into tranny. has alittle rubber cover over it simmilar to a brake bleeder.
1. Depress the clutch pedal rapidly for five to ten strokes
2. Wait one to three minutes.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 three more times.
4. Loosen bleed screw.
5. Fully depress clutch pedal and hold.
6. Tighten bleed screw.
7. Release clutch pedal.
8. Apply pressure to the clutch pedal.
If clutch pedal travel is within specification, procedure is complete.
If the clutch pedal is out of specification, repeat bleeding procedure.
