The tranny seems to shutter hard when it shifts from D to OD when going over 35. Its really bad when going at half acceleration and lasts for seconds. But not as bad when really getting on it with more acceleration. So what could be going wrong???

 

The fluid could be worn out, or the torque converter could be worn out.

 

I would start by changing the fluid and filter, drain the torque converter too.

 

would the converter be worn out after 74000 miles?
