First time towing with 2015 F 150
Hello, everyone. I'm planning on buying my family's first TT, and just wanted to make sure my truck could handle it. Mostly plan on taking it to beach and maybe some NASCAR races. I have a 2015 F 150XLT 4x4 supercrew, 5.0V8, with I think just the standard tow package. It did not come with the electric trailer brake. I'm looking at getting a Nomad Dart that is 24-26' long and the dry weight is 4090. I'm guessing that GVW at most would be around 6. My truck should pull this I would think, but wanted to be sure before I bought it and found out the hard way .Thanks for your help

You should be fine, as long as you don't load up the cab and bed with a lot of weight - people and cargo - or you will exceed the truck GVWR. I would recommend you get a factory brake controller installed, it will integrate with the PCM for stability control which aftermarket controllers won't. You should also use a weight distributing hitch.
Here's the math - the weight of the truck plus all passengers and cargo, plus the trailer tongue weight should not exceed your 7k GVWR. Your max tow is 9k, but you will exceed the GVWR before you reach that.
