Buying a new WDH hitch-which one?

I am trading in my old WDH hitch and purchasing a new one. It will be put in a 2016 F150 3.5 Eco, max tow, 4x4. I will be pulling a White Hawk 27DSRL. 7500 GVWR but only loaded to 6600 lbs. So far we travel light. I am looking to the experts on the brand and type of WDH you recommend. Thanks.

I have the Blue Ox hitch with integrated sway control and it works very nice for my 31' trailer that is a bit heavier than yours.

I tow a Jayco Eagle 28BHBE and use a Propride 3p and would not tow without it. You can read up on the Propride 3p and Hensley Arrow hitches which have similar design and eliminate sway. The only common complaint is the price but nobody regrets it after towing. Towing at the upper end of your truck's capacities will make you appreciate a good quality hitch that much more.

You can get very nice results without breaking the bank. Other good systems, not yet mentioned, are Reese Straight-Line and Equalizer.

If you have $2500 get a hensley or proride 3p. Otherwise Equalizer in my book. Make sure you price shop, I have bought 3 in the last 2 years and adventurerv.net has been the cheapest every time.
