Towing my 06' F150

I have to move 1000miles across the country.I am alone and need a moving van. Any suggestions on how to tow my truck with the moving van with as little cost possible? All the trailers and dollies available from uhaul, or Penske, etc. will not take the weight of my truck. What do I do?

Ship it, Check the Costs, Might be the same, more or less, Not sure, but it is something to look into.

There is also a pull along system but it might be cheaper to ship again I am not sure. But this should give you a couple of ideas to look at.

Cheers and Good luck on the move.

1-way plane ticket and drive it too.

X2. 1000 miles is doable in either a long days drive or an easy 2 day trip. It's probably your cheapest option.

1000 miles is too much for 1 day solo.

rent a trailer for your stuff and pull it with the F150... they have 6 x 12 cargo box trailers and open flat bed trailers. your truck should handle no problem..

Trailer: 6x12x7' = 504 cubic feet
Truck: 8x24*9' = 1728 cubic feet
