Jeff Laws....have a question for you
Jeff,
I posted this on another topic, but you have not responded. You were talking about how to get a brake controller hooked up on a truck without a tow package. I already have the harness from the controller to the plug under the dash (took it from my father-in-law, he said he wouldn't need it). What I need to know is the Ford part number for the 7 pin blade connector that goes to the harness under the bed on the frame rail. As you mentioned, I have the four pin, and if I have the plug, everything is wired. The only problem is, my local dealer can't seem to figure out what part I need. I know what he quoted me was wrong because the price was $130!!!! I can have a local guy hook up the controller and put a plug on the truck for cheaper than that!!! If you can give me the part number it would help, then I can just take the number to the dealership and ask how much it costs!
Thanks in advance!
