The Prodigy is very easy to install with little electrical knowledge required if you buy the vehicle specific harness. See Rjays.com - $110 shipped.

It took me longer to decide where to mount my prodigy than to install it. So save some cash and put it in on your own.

Buy a Tekonsha Prodigy and do it yourself. It is very easy, especially if you purchase the prewired harness that many places sell with the controller. No real wiring involved, just plug it up and mount it.

I too have installed a few Tekonsha brake controllers. If you buy the harness, there is no "wiring" of any kind. Just plug one end of the harness into the controller, and the other end into the connecter under the dash. Like was said, the hardest part is deciding where to mount it.

Prodigy...1 wire connector...2 screw holes for the mount. Just make sure the wire connector is for your truck.
