I have just ordered a 2007 SCREW, just wondering does the receiver come with the regular XLT package? Also how much can I haul on the bumper alone? Or can you even use the bumper, I have noticed some kind of black rubber/ plastic over the area where the ball would go.

The reciever is installed with the "Tow Package"
The tow package does not come standard on an XLT...but most dealers will have this as a standard order item on most trucks.
The bumper should be rated at 500# tongue weight.
The little plastic cover pops off and you can install a ball right on the bumper. The main problem with this set up is you can not adjust for height and the trailer, not following level will be harder to load for balance.
If you plan to tow more than once you should consider a reciever...it'll also be less likely to jack-knife by giving you more turning radius as well as not bending up your bumper.

Your life will be a lot simpler if you call your salesman now and tell him to add the Trailer Tow package to your order.
They can change the order right up until the truck starts rolling down the assembly line.
Get it done at the factory if possible.
Typically, the 'package' includes coolers, and heavyduty wiring/battery etc...
The dealership may just slap a hitch on and send you on your way.
p.s.
The factory 'Limited Slip' is a bargain in my opinion.
