For Those Who BlueTooth Their Music.....
If you use an Android device, go to the Google Play Store and download a free music 'equalizer' app for using while BlueToothing your music library.
I've got the cheapo, Sync system and downloaded the equalizer app and it really, really helps the sound of the system.
All the parameters of the music can be 'tweaked' by using the sliders.
There is also a 'bass boost' slider and a 'virtualizer' slider which acts like 'surround sound'.
And best of all, IT's FREE!!!...........unlike apple's equalizer.........

There are actually several 'EQUALIZER' apps available for free. The app with the 'pre-sets' which is called 'EQUALIZER' wouldn't open for me so I searched for another that does not have the pre-sets but only sliders for adjusting the sound. It's also called 'Equalizer', but with no pre-set functions such as Jazz, Rock, Country, etc, etc.
I bought a BlueTooth speaker from Bose called Soundlink and got turned onto the app from peeps complaining that the bass was too loud and not enough mid-range. This app cured all of that. And SoundLink kicks some serious A$$ for being a portable bluetoothed speaker. Easy to carry and you'd have to hear it to believe it.
Since using this Equalizer app for my Sync system, it sounds like someone snuck in and added some tweeters and didn't tell me.............

I just downloaded another equalizer app called 'AnEq Equalizer Free'.
Built expressly for Android and it's lots better than the previous 'Equalizer' app I started with.
AnEq can be toggled on/off, has 10 pre-sets to which you can add your own 'pre-set' for various devices and can be stored in the drop down menu of included pre-sets.
I've added 4 of my own pre-sets (1 for the truck, 1 for BT headphones, 1 for my Bose Soundlink, and 1 custom for anything). The pre-sets you create can be named and then stored.
A really nice app, for free.
