My wife has an 09 and last time on the sync site there was no fix. What I mean is even if you have the volume down on the radio, then hit the sync button it is loud! Have any of you fixed this issue by chance?

Hey Jim, I have a 2010 and couldn't figure out how to adjust the volume also. I found out that you have to have the sync voice talking then you can adjust the volume using the radio ****. I did it by looking for a point of interest like a gas or resturant. Then when the voice comes on make the adjustment.
