Hello,
I'm always cruising the web for new and used trucks and I came across a local dealer in Pittsburgh that has a 2012 Raptor labeled as R Series. What is this and is it different from a regular Raptor?
I tried searching but only come up with the truck built for the Baja 1000 which was an R series. The difference there was upgraded suspension and a specially tuned 6.2 rated at 500 hp.

Additionally, it has only 28,000 miles and are asking $42,000.00

Seems to be a rather unique truck...

The race version, the F-150 SVT Raptor R, was built for the Baja 1000 races. It uses a 6.2 L V8 engine rated at 500 hp (370 kW).

I read that too, but I didn't know they made them as production models for the public.

 

It's a 2012. Who knows if it got out. Very possible.
