Removing driveshaft on Lowered truck

Went to pull the driveshaft out of my truck last night. Marked it, pulled the bolts out. But the thing wouldnt budge. I didnt have a big enough jack handy to jack up the truck. I guess by lowering the truck made the drive shaft slide foward inside the trans more.

If I jack the rear of the truck up will the allow me to get the driveshaft out. Anyone else have a problem, or ever tried this.

yes, i have run into that problem at work on a couple of lowered lightnings. If you have shorter that factory shocks, jacking it up may still not let it out. On one truck i had to undo the lower shock mounts to let the rear end come down far enough to let the d-shaft out.
