Question Changing shocks

I'm looking at changing my shocks , too much sway in the rear end . Added leaf springs last year to help with load carrying .
I am looking at the rancho Rs 9000 , for the rear end . Here is my question ? , do I put the 9000 in the front also , or do I go with the 5000 in the front . The upkeep of roads in my little town is
not to hot , know what I mean !. I do the fishing thing also , where there are NO ROADS > , I'll soon be doing it with a small camper on the back , 1100 pds , not including the canoe and food . I have a F-150 ,1998 , 5-speed 4.2 liter 3.55 LSD , going on 145,000 kmh . I have already broken one tie-rod on the right
side , loose on the left . Changed both sides completely . So now to changing shocks .
Any suggestions ?

Thanks Eli

Eli-

With your road conditions and outdoor activities, I'd put them on all 4)corners. You can tinker with the adjustments to suit your needs, then change them if necessary. It's nice to crank the back ones up for towing/hauling. Those are great shocks and a simple install. Good Luck !!

RS 9000 for sure

I live in West Virginia so the roads are not the best.. I also do alot of fly fishing which requires some off road experiences, and dirt and gravel back roads.. I have had the RS 9000's for about 4 or 5 months and I think they are great..I had the same question as you and I was told to get all four.. 4wheel parts has a special right now where you can buy 3 and get one free. They were pretty easy to put on.. My truck corners so much better and rides like a caddy.. One of the best investments I have made since I bought this truck..I have mine set on two and the difference is night and day.. Good luck to ya..

RS9000's at all four cornors and a RS5000 type steering stabalizer. With your activities I would get the 9000's so you can adjust as you need to. You didn't say if it was a 4x4 or a 4X2 but either way I think a steering stablizer helps with washout bumps and cornoring bumps.
