Angry steering

okay everyone..I have a question. I have a 1995 f-150 that after coming out of a turn will not return to center. I have to admit that for the last 10,000 miles I have never greased the balljoints or anything of that nature since I did not know it required it until recently. Have never owned a 4x4 til now. *S* My question is after greasing the inserts will it take some time for the truck to return to normal. As far as steering goes I mean. It seems a little better but still not quite back to par. any info would be great. thanks
