Upper control arm powder coat

Upper control arm powder coat
Hi all. New to this site. So I’m working on getting more powder coating work done on my 2012. The next project is the control arms and I’m struggling to figure out what to do about the uppers. I didn’t know until looking for replacement ball joints that you have to get the control arm. I’ve seen control arms on these trucks powder coated plenty of times so I’m wondering if someone could give me some advice on this. If I get new control arms, can I press the ball joints out for powder and then put them back in after? Or is there some out there that don’t come assembled? Can the ball joint stay in for the powder? The guy that does my powder coating isn’t really sure on this either and I’ve done all the searching I can handle so any advice would help. Thanks in advance!

I'm not totally positive about this, but:
https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...trol+arm,10401
Look at the AC Delco 45D1084 and 45D1085.
I would probably press out the ball joints and replace them with these:
https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...ll+joint,10070
AC Delco 45D1772.
It looks to me like the ball joints that come with those control arms are not greasable. The replacement joints are.

Sorry it took so long to get back but I appreciate the info. I did order these control arms and called ACDelco before doing so to make sure and they said these ball joints are removal and those are the correct ball joints for that control arm. However, after getting them in I took them to my mechanic to have them pressed out and he had no luck and said they wouldn’t come so I then called ACDelco back and a different guy said they were not removable. So I’m not sure who knows what. Neither me nor my mechanic can find a snap ring to remove so it’s not looking promising. Have you had any experience with these and have you figured out a way to get them out?
