Those are rear coil-overs. You don't need them. Just get Motorcraft shocks and replace them...

Uhhh, yeah. Coilover + Springs... wtf? Is by design or did someone think they needed the extra spring?

They look like Monroe Load adjusting shocks. I put a set on my 2011 when I was pulling a travel trailer. Really though there was no effect in ride quality using them without the trailer. They really only came into use when placing heavy load to the bed/hitch.
If you don’t need anything that stiff you can probably pick up rear shocks for about 60 bucks. A set of those runs about 120 bucks.
