A couple years ago I installed Monroe coil assemblies. I used the 4x4 version in my 2wd thinking I wouldn't get as much lift as I did. It raised me a full two inches.

Today I put the 2wd version of those coil assemblies with a 1" spacer. I got the exact same about of lift.

I'm trying to have my front end only 1" higher than stock. Will these current ones drop a bit? Or is their spring rate just stiffer for my v6 2wd?

I may take out the spacers, but I don't went the coils to settle and for it be too low.

Anyone have any experience with these?

You may get a 1/8-1/4" of settling, but it's going to take a couple hundred thousand miles or a defective assembly to settle an inch.
