what do I need?????

First off I wanted to say hi to everyone as I am new to the forum

Ok The question I have is, I am planning on buying a 4in. suspension lift, a 3 in body lift, 35 in BFGs,and centerline type 33 rims, and I was wondering what I am going to need to complete the install that the kit dosen't have (Brake lines, Gear?????)

Thank you

I basically just had done what you're planning on doing. I didn't do it myself because didn't want to deal with lifting the body off the frame for the body lift or ripping off the front suspension to put the lift on. All my brake lines appear to be stock so I don't think those need to be changed. I haven't changed my gears yet. Definitely lost some acceleration but I can live it and the speedo is off about 10MPH at 70MPH. If you can do the lift, I'd highly recommend it. My truck looks great. Good luck.

I'm sittin on a 9 and a half inch lift and no need to change brake lines, running 35's and I'm only off on my speedo about 2 miles an hour, i've checked several times, 3:55 gears is what I'm runnin but changin to 4:56's because i'm going higher and going to 38's or 40's

with the 35 in tires did you notice a huge loss of power? I am thinking of 4.10s to gain some of the power back.

Yep you can imagine a big loss of power, i started with 33's and even then it took a considerable amount of power, what all mods do you have and what engine

I have the 5.4 and right now I only have cat back dual exaust. I am planning on a fipk, chip, and 4.10 gear. I still don't know if I want the fipk because they say you lose bottom end and I don't think I want to.

Cool

Well if i was you and I was lookin for low end torque I would go with 4:56's you still will be able to run over a 100MPH, I have JBA Headers, True Dual Exhaust with X-Pipe, Underdrive pulley's, K/N Generation II FIPK, PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer, BBK 75mm Throttle Body, Granatelli 80mm Mass Air Flow, Electric Dual 14" Fans , Jet PowerShift Plus 4 stage Electronic Transmission Module,Transgo ShiftKit with other mods, 2400 stall speed converter,Jacobs Electronics High Output Ignition, SuperChips Power Ford FlipChip, 30lb Injectors and probably more that I'm leaving out and the only thing I am Yet to really notice made any difference is the 4:56 gears the ShiftKit and Power Shift module and the SuperChip if you want to talk straight out mods. but after those three things, it brought every mod to life. So I hope I've been able to help out a little bit, unless you going to do the right mods to bring the other one's to life then your just wasting your money.
