well a little update. bad news. blew one of the spark plugs out of the cylinder which is awesome. I don't exactly want to helicoil it but I might do it just to drive it but we will see. I don't NEED to drive it, but it sucks to have it just sit there. oh well. I want to just pull the whole motor out and throw something dumb in there like I was going to when I thought the head gasket blew. Maybe my truck is telling me it secretly wants that to happen ha. we will see. I save so much money riding this bike its ridiculous. I have no idea why I didn't do this earlier. I give it a couple months and I might just have a blown built 5.4! I went out to wheeling with a couple friends this sunday and a guy they invited had a blown linked 5.3 fully done up. it sounded badd and made me really want the motor to be the next big thing here. parts wouldnt be too bad if I just used my block and different heads. supercharge it and boom its cool again! ha. we will see, right now I think I am going to debate the real big picture of pulling it vs helicoil. other than that we will see how it all goes! but update pictures are next, I've been slacking

does anyone know anything about heads? I'm such at a loss here. I have done what seems like tonssss of research. 2v vs 3v vs 4v. my motor vs lightning vs navi, .20 .30 supercharged vs turbo. jesus I have no idea whats even goin on anymore my heads so scrambled. I need a starting point.
what are the best heads? I said before I need 450-600 to the wheels with 37s and 4.88s. and 4x4.
I'm looking at these http://www.modmaxracing.com/product_p/fmsm6049-dac.htm
but I've also looked at http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-51910002-m44

can I even get to my goal with 2v? thats I feel like my biggest obstacle because I have no idea what to choose there. someone make my brain stop hurting

Well, aren't we the little diva?

One minute, you're all in and subbing to the thread. One post later, and you've taken your ball and gone home and 'unsubbed'? That doesn't sound like you. Or does it.....

Seems like just the other day you had your Victoria's Secret Angels bound up over folks saying nasty things in YOUR thread. Now here you go...

Since when did you become so sensitive, toolbag? Somebody put soy milk laced with estrogen in yer Wheaties this mornin'?

Dewser Why must you make a silly joke into this serious thing. I will never un sub to this thread. But i do get a lil sensitive when someone bashes the 4.2. And i know all the 4.2 lovers will be the same.

Us 4.2 guys are pretty tough but are lil girls when it comes to a negative saying towards our babies. when i say babies i mean literally our baby motors

Rut-row...

Ironically, I think I liked the old toolbag better. This new one is all 'bag' and no 'tool'.

OP, sorry fer any thread-crappin' that might ensue.

thats fine.. theres no way you'll ever convince me that 44s with a v6 and 4.56s is at all fast. a friend of mine has a f350 on 44s with a 7.3 and even his truck is a dog. I couldn't imagine going down in size.

anyway.
no one has any head suggestions?

Its not that it was fast. Cause it didn't go past 70.
