Nice build. Are you going to cover up the front a little with a piece of sheet metal between the bumper mounting rails?

Little update. Not so awesome. Sheered my axle and blew out my idler arm a couple nights ago. Not exactly sure how it happened but it definitely sucked. at least my truck is still drivable. Went up a rutted hill, wasn't exactly a ridiculous hill but had some drops to it and 3/4 the way up bang. lost both parts. had to back down with almost no steering and a axle shaft hanging out. definitely sketchy. Also added some mudflaps after I received a ticket from dps and also from a stupid incident with a mcso officer who also gave me a reckless driving ticket for allegedly kicking dirt on his truck while I passed him. long story but either way its fixed now and the first ticket was dismissed. Never filed apparently. Hopefully the second one is the same way. other than that the truck is running awesome! checked out hnms kit today again and it looks so tempting. Sort of wish I would have went with it to begin with. emailed kevin to see what he says about a few changes I wanted. Ill keep you updated if I end up selling my set up. Until then I need a new axle!

So a little update. Ordered new axles from DBR, should have those on within the week. and a Big update is that the rear is about to get some serious new parts :] other than that I also have some bad news. A while back I drained my optima playing music while wheelin. ever since then it hasn't been the same. long story short I ended up needing to get a new one. when getting a new battery I swapped pos and neg seeing as they were both black wires and I didn't pay much attention or mark them when I rerouted them. well I definitely smoked some wires popped a few fuses and now I have a p1000 light on. Seeing as I got a new battery I feel like I shorted my alternator even know the truck runs. lights seem dim, and the battery gauge seems low. I'll test it later this week to see if I did but the big question I have is with this p1000 code, could I have possibly blown the PCM? obviously it runs and drives but I feel uneasy knowing I just have to drive and "wait it out" for this p1000 code to go away and complete the tests. anyone have any insight on whether or not I trashed it?

i had a p1000 in my 2wd, and most likely still do, havent driven it since the tranny went out (thats what i think it is) but what is wrong with the truck now seems mechanical and not from the PCM, it drive just fine with the P1000, but it never went away, its been so long i cant even remember when it started. sorry im not a ton of help. is the battery holdin up alright?

It ended up being that my alternator was fried. replaced it and now I'm full force.

got 3 new kc 70w HID pods and threw them on the truck. I can definitely say for as much money I spent on them they are the absolute brightest lights I have ever seen. Mocked up a skid plate finally and will redesign it a little better to make it fit and look a tad bit better. I'll also do some other small changes that I'll post up next time to go with the new plates. A little flare I've had in mind ha. I'll have more pics but heres a preview of whats to come! Also 3.0x18" triples with deavers and camburg shackles should be on the way sometime soon. for now enjoy!

So what is your plan for the rear end? Are you planning on extending it any to match the front end or are you planning on leaving it stock width?
