What do i need to clear 33's
I have a 98 f150 with a leveling kit but really want to put some 33's and some different wheels... what size lift if anything do i need
|
check the search engine out...but most of the f150s come factory with 32 inch tires
so you shouldnt have any problem fitting a 33. just read up on your offsets/backspacing on your wheels to get the look you want. negative offset pushes the wheels out .positive offset stays in closer to the truck. good luck, there are a lot of nice trucks on here to check out and see what exactly you were looking for |
are you 2wd or 4wd?
stock wheels or aftermarket wheels? if aftermarket wheels what are the specs on them? (width and backspacing specifically) once you answer those you will get a correct answer. |
I'm assuming 2wd since he said leveling kit, unless he has those god awful aftermarket keys.
|
I have 35's with a 3" body lift and no rub at all.

You must be 4x4 then, there's no way you could do it on a 2wd.

And that's with trimming. If the op is going with aftermarket wheels, it's a safe bet he'll need a minimum of 3" to clear 33's with possible minor trimming. See my sig for more info.

'collins, I am selling my fabtech 7.5in lift if your interested, just send me a PM

Just need to have 4wd. My truck has 33x12.5 and is 100% stock suspension.

Your truck is also a complete different bodystyle and suspension style....
|
and 4wd....
|
mine is 4wd.... just want to get some 33's to look a little tougher look and want to still tow my drag car.... also was wondering if a edge or gryphon would help out on towing my car...
|
Wait your 4x4 and can't clear 33's?? You definitely should be able too. And by leveling kit did you just crank the torsion bars or did you get aftermarket?
|
You should be able to clear 33's stock. With the front leveled there should be zero issues, even with aftermarket wheels.
