New Shocks 98' with Camper..HELP>>>

I have a 98' 5.4 King Cab which I just put a 1000lb Camper on. Can anyone help me and suggest what shocks or such can I use to help the rear "SAG" . I would say I need at least couple of inches of lift with more stability?? Does this sound right?? Advice is really appreciated.. THX , Dan

Shocks will not lift your truck unless they are air shocks or coil overs. If the camper is not going to be removed I suggest some add-a-leafs, if you do take it on and off frequently I suggest "helper air bags" such as a ride rite kit

Load levelers or super springs can help also....

Get an add a leaf to bring the rear back up, shocks won't lift it. But you can also then get a decent set of bilsteins to help with the ride quality.

What he said. I posted this in the other thread you started too.

Just to add clarity to what pizzaman said...NO shock will fix or do anything for the sag. Shocks to do not support weight, period. Only way to address the sag from the added weight is add-a-leafs, air bags, or change/upgrade the spring pack.

I would use a air bag helper for the sag
