2" level pics needed.
i got this truck, 2004 fx4 and it already had a level kit on it with 305's. and from looking at it it still has a little bit of rake in the back. i assumed it has a 2" level on it since its not completely level. so i ordered a 2.5" HBS level to fix that. i was wondering if anyone else has pics of an 04-05 with a 2" level with a little it of rake to it? from what i heard 04-05's need 2.5" to be level and 06-08's needed 2"
in pics it looks level but in person you can tell it has about a half inch of rake. heres the only i found that looks to be raked. Does it look like a 2" level? http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...8-10_118-1.jpg http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...-34-03_356.jpg http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...-34-37_145.jpg |
That looks more like 1 -1.5" of rake to me.
Mine looks just like that and its 1" higher in the back. You could have a 2.5" on there right now with worn out coil-overs. Idk, can't really tell what size you have on there unless you take a close up pic of where the leveling kit is. |

^ Yea thats definitely smaller than an 2.5".
|
do you have pics of yours? i know its a 3" but just to compare
|
I have a 3" kit with worn out coil-overs so my angles aren't bad, but when I replace my coil-overs I'm throwing a 2.5" on.
Here's me 3" kit: https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...truck2-033.jpg |
dang yeah that makes mine look like a 1"

The spacers aren't a 1:1 ratio.
A 3" spacer is 1.75" thick A 2.5" spacer is 1.5" thick |
yeah i read that somewhere. something about increasing the angle of the LCA

This my old 06 with a 2" level

From looking at the pic of the spacer that looks like a 1.5" to me. My 2" is a bit thicker than that I believe
