Just purchased a 2007 f-150 crew cab 4x4. Wondering if anyone could tell me if LT285/70R18 tires would fit with a 2" leveling kit? thanks guys

yes, if you searched you would find that you can fit a 35x12.5 with a leveling kit on a 4wd.

so lt285/70r18 would fit fine with no rubbing with stock rims and no spacers with a 2" leveling kit?

i bought 35/12.5/18 nitto trail grapplers, the shop tried putting them on but couldn't because the sidewall was rubbing the upper ball joint before the wheel was even bolted on. would a wheel spacer help? i have a 2 inch level by the way.

it could be the aggressiveness of the tire, are you running stock wheels? PM wandell, but they should fit
Nathan, it is a 33.7x11.5. anything smaller than 35x12.5 will work with a leveling kit.

go measure how wide they actually are, could be wider than manufacturer states. i had those same tires on my super duty and they were pretty wide looking.

From: Greensboro, NC but goin to State so now its Raleigh
I have a 2.5" AS kit in mine with 305/70/18's stock wheels and they rub but only at full lock hitting a bump, I got used to it rubbing and now they don't rub (i dont turn sharp enough to allow it anymore). The thing about the stock wheel is that it keeps the tire under the truck enough that it don't rub but at the same time it keeps it away from the knuckle and upper A-arm enough that it wont hit there either. Thanks to FoMoCo engineers for that one. Any way a 2" with a 285 on stock wheels will be just fine, however a mud grappler or anything with a overly aggressive sidewall you gotta watch out for because the sidewall is of course is going to add to the overall width of the tire but tire companies only release the width of the tread belt
