Swaybar endlink bushings

Not sure if it's a common issue but I discovered both endlink bushings for the front swaybar were missing. They must have rotted away a few months back. I remember the front end started making rattling noises over bumps a while back but I couldn't pin point it. I crawled underneath and assumed it was a loose exhaust heat shield.

Today while changing the oil I grabbed on the the front swaybar to move myself around and heard the same rattling sound that I always hear over bumps. Turns out the bushings had rotted away allowing the swaybar to be basically free floating.

Fortunately my local auto parts store has polyurethane endlink bushings in stock. No time now but I'm looking forward to putting them in tomorrow. I wonder how much of a difference it'll make having a functioning front sway bar again.

i to have noise up front so i will be replacing both of my sway bar end links. I have the 90* type on my 04, anyone have any idea how to get them out? when i put my lift on, i could not get the sway bar out of the end link, even with a hammer. Should i just hit it harder?

Yup. Made a nice little improvement keeping the truck flatter.

Nice not hearing that annoying rattle over bumps anymore.

What's up guys,
I have a SuperCab 01 F-150 XL Sport 4WD with a 4.6 and just noticed my bushings are completely gone. My question is, what is the correct size for the replacement? The parts house had a 27mm and a 30mm kit available but no way of telling me which one is the correct size. Anyone know which is correct?
