Timbrens or Air Bags

I'm trying to decide which suspension helper to buy. I'm torn between a Timbren kit or an AirLift kit.

I tow my boat about 6 times a year and I haul a ton of woodpellets 5 to 6 times a year.

I know there are other types out there, but I've narrowed it down to these two.

Thanks for any opinions

Go with the airbags. Timbrens are basically just softer bump stops. Even correctly installed (lets say 1" of suspension compression before contact), you are going to feel that contact over speed bumps or uneven driveways, etc. when the suspension is compressed a bit. On the other hand, air bags can be aired down to 5-10 psi and should barely (if at all) effect unloaded ride.

Timbrens are more appropriate for trucks frequently hauling heavy loads, like a super duty hauling a heavy slide-in camper in the bed, for example. That's my opinion anyway. I guess if you rarely leave the pavement or drive on rough roads, you may not be bothered by timbrens.
