345/75-16's

I have a 2002 2wd with an 6" RCD lift and soon to have a PA 3" BL and was wondering if you guys think a set of 345/75-16's would fit? I test fitted a buddies 38.5-10.5-16 bogger on it and it cleared but the thing is it was bald as hell...also if i can get a tire like that to fit what gears you think i should run? 4.88 or 5.11?

I think a 37x12.50 would be a much better fit.

only reason i was thinkin the 345's over the 12.5's was cause i get a major discount off the new BFG KM2's through work to where there practically a steal as compare to paying full price for a set of nittos or somethin else, you think the one inch width will make to much of a difference?

Depends on the width and backspacing of the wheels you are using. If you have a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of bs, you may have serious rubbing.

i have 16x8 mickey thompsons with 4-7/16's backspacing

It will be really tight. Sorry I can't give you a definate answer but you are dealing with an odd tire size. I'd suggest test fitting one.

cant exactly test fit one either...which prooves to be a problem since any tire i order has to have a down payment on em.

You should be able to find someone locally that will be willing to mount and test fit one. Just make sure it is understood that you are purchasing a set of tires from them.

Thats a 37x13.5" tire. His boggers fit cause they were narrow. Those are too wide for a 8" wide wheel. Your only supposed to go 4"s wider than the wheel or in this case 12"s. If you do get them and get them to fit gearing depends on whether you do more city or highway driving. Id say 4.88
