defects in 04 and newer LCA's
 

Got 140k on my truck mostly highway. Was told lower ball joints need replaced along with inner tie rods. The inner tie rods were already replaced at 80k. Anyway, my parts guy was telling me that there is a factory defect in the lca's and the new ones address that. Additionally, he says the inner tie rods wear out because of a nylon to steel condition that a upgrade resolves. He gave me a price of $650 for new uppers and lowers and the inner tie rods. Not cheap crap either.
