Help

I am trying to find the factory ride height specs for the torsion bars on my 99 Expedition 4x4. Also if someone has the torque spec for the axle nut that would be great too...got lots of answers and chose 175ft/lbs as it was the avg of the bunch I got.

When I purchased my Expy, it appears they were torqued down to raise the truck. Now the wife is complaining since she would rather it be lower.

It just got new upper control arms (Moog) and lower ball joints (Napa's best ones) since it broke off the driver lower ball joint right in the driveway backing out of the garage. Thankfully it happened there instead of the highway!!!

Also put new brakes on it since the rotors were all scored (used cheap AutoZone ValueCraft stuff the first time). They did exchange the old stuff for their best stuff with me just paying the difference (not much and shouldn't have been cheap the first time). Not sure they are still as good as the Wagner or Carquest stuff but still can't be as bad the cheap crap!

I still need to do the inner and outer tie rods as I noticed they were suspect too (have to order to get Moog). Anything else I should look at while digging around in there?

I know I need to get an alignment but will have to wait until the tie rods are done.

Thanks!

It seems every truck's torsion bars are adjusted differently.
