Had an idea?

SO everyone gets these leveling kits that just puts a spacer between the coils and where they mount, can't i just buy coil springs with a 2" lift on it if i wanted to level the truck 2"s?

THANKS,

-Devan

No one makes a lift coil for the 04-10 trucks. Also, to lift the front of a coilover suspended truck with a coil, it would have to be longer and stiffer, which would make ride quality suffer. Also, this would leave the coilover shock almost or completely extended. This would leave your fornt suspension with no down travel which would hurt ride quality. The spacers are a cheaper, more effective solution.
Now, if you are talking about a 97-03 4x2, yes, lifted coilsprings are available.

If you could find coil springs that would 2" longer that would fit it would accomplish the same thing HOWEVER by doing that it will have to stretch your shock an additional two inches and I am not sure the existing hardware will even allow for that. By adding the space it moves the whole assembly down, therefor you do not have to worry about that issue.
My advice if you don't want spacers, buy adjustable coil overs.

I think you will still use OEM length replacement shocks for 2 inch lift coils on a 97-03 4x2. Remember, your suspension system is completely different than the 04-08 trucks.

no need for new shocks unless your stock ones are worn out. mine are still fine with my level even though they are extended a bit

04-10 2wd trucks can just put 4x4 struts on and gain 2" that way as well
