Waiting on New Lift... Can't Wait

I just had to share some excitement with someone. My Fiance doesn't fully get it, I am like a kid waiting for Christmas at this point.

After straying away from customizing my truck for a couple of years, I got the bug back, and got it big... I went and placed the order on Friday for a

6" BDS Lift
35" Nitto Terra Grapplers
on 18" KMC XD Addict Wheels

It has been nearly six years since I have had a lifted truck, I can wait

If all of the parts come in on time, the install should happen this coming Wednesday, and I should have the truck back Thursday morning after alignment.

while I am personally biased towards fabtech kits, BDS is an excellent choice for a lift. from what i have seen, the structural quality of BDS kits is superb.

i'm not too fond of your tire choice, nitto terra grapplers are just glorified street tires to me. i prefer the bfg a/t's.

I'm okay with that. I have always been a BFG A/T guy in the past, this will not be off-roaded anymore than an occasional dirt trail and I know several people who are running the Nitto's and have gotten very good mileage with regular tire rotations.

Congrats! I know the feeling, when I got to the shop and and saw my truck for the first time, I almost cried. It was like one of those moments on home makeover when they move the bus and show the new house. Good choice with the lift, I have a 6" BDS as well. You won't be disappointed.

Dropped the truck off last night after work. They were supposed to install the lift today, and send out for alignment in the morning. I went by after work today, and it was still on the lift, with only the front end stripped down. Hoping they worked a little later than usual tonight.

Still keeping my fingers crossed that I get her back tomorrow.

Picked up the truck Thursday night. Went later than expected with a few Tire Pressure monitoring challenges, but in the end all is good. Pretty happy with everything at this point. Ride is great, no complaints there!

Will be ordering some nerf bars this week, and I had to send my Edge Evo back to Edge to get a firmware tweak. It was having issues communicating with the truck when I was trying to change the tire size.

It looks like I may have to get the alignment tweaked again, the truck run perfectly straight, but the steering wheel is a few degrees to the right. I have a feeling when it was aligned, the steering wheel wasn't straight.

Here are a few quick pics that I snapped this morning. Truck is dirty, since it was raining off and on yesterday.
