Bilstein 5100's or level kit

Trying to decide between the Bilstein 5100’s set on 2” and a 2” level kit such as AS. Are there any pros/cons to going one way or the other? Do they ride about the same? Any suggestions for tire size and brand? Ones on now are P275/65R18 crappy BFG Rugged Trails and I’m tired of ruining tires in the pasture, so need something with a tougher sidewall. I’ll be using the stock rims and need an AT tire. Probably 85% hwy, 10% off road, 5% trailer pulling (boat, tractor & brushhog, 5th wheel). How much of a mpg hit will the level and tires give me? All help and opinions greatly appreciated.

I just installed the Bilstein leveling kit last week and I am extremely pleased. The front rides much better, I don't know if its the shock upgrade or what though. The BFG Ats have a tough sidewall and ride great on the road, I would look at those. As always you'll take a little hit with bigger tires but you shouldn't notice anything from just the leveling kit. If your worried about MPGs I would stick with a 285 tire or something around there.

Go with the Bilstein's if you can afford them. For tires I would go with a 285x65x18 BFG AT (33") or a 305x65x18 (34") if you do a lot of heavy pulling stick with the 33" tires. Both will fit on the stock wheels.
