why dont go with a three inch lift on top of my leveling kit?
just curious i dont have the money for a six inch and i figured the skyjacker three or the quicklift would give me alittle more hight for much less buck

If you were to use either of those shocks with your leveling kit you would have some serious CV angles. I wouldn't recommend it or even attempt it. 3" is the max you can go without having to buy an aftermarket suspension lift with a new subframe, shocks, etc.
Most everyone has found out that 2.5 inches is the max you can lift the front of these truck with a spacer and still have acceptable ball joint angles/wear. If you try combine the spacer lift and a shock with the preload cranked up for over 4 inches of lift you wouldn't even be able to bolt the suspension back together because of the extreme angles.
ok but if i add an AAL to the back which will give me skyjacker says will give me three inches the rear then the angle is the same isnt it becuase im a raising the truck equally,
or am i just wrong here
thanks for all the input guys

The angles we are talking about has to do with the IFS front end. Like Wandell said, you wouldn't even be able to bolt it back together. I would stick with a 2 1/2" spacer with a rear block and then go with a body lift if you're wanting to stay below the cost of a suspension lift. With a little work on covering the gaps you can make a body lift look very nice.
RIght. If the lift the front of your truck over 2.5 inches without the use of a full suspension lift, which includes drop down brackets, the angles of your ball joints will be so severe that they will wear out prematurely.
hey guys just wanted to say thanks for all the input decided to go with a 6 inch superlift for the front and i found a guy by me to make me custom leaf spring set up to lift the rear 6 inch
thanks again guys
