4.2, 4.6 = 8.8 rear end

Weird. I either have a 9.75 rear end or the overall diameter of the driveshaft spacer is just too small. I bought a Ford Mustang driveshaft spacer from a company that said that the spacer was for an 8.8 rear end. This is because there are no spacers made for my year truck. Its too damn small. Im confirming with the company what size it is.

the only way you ave a 9.75 is if it was swapped in after being bought.

count the number of bolts on the rear diff cover.

definitely 8.8.

8.8 = 10

9.75 = 12
