Lowering the 4.2

Sorry in advance if this had been covered, i searched but i didn't come up with anything.
Anyway, I have an '07 XL (reg cab, short bed 2x4, 4.2L) and I'd really like to lower her a bit. I've done some research online (hell, I've even called tirerack) and no one seems to have a kit for the V6. The guy from tirerack told me that the Eibach kit I was looking at was designed for the V8 and because of this it wouldn't lower the front as much as it would on the V8. While she sits way too high right now, stock is certainly better than reverse rake! I'm still in college so after school, truck payment and insurance there's not a whole lot left so i want to make sure that when i do get some money I can do it right the first time. I'm not sure if this will make a difference or not, but the stock 17's are on there now, and eventually I want to put on the Roush 20's.

Thanks in advance!

truck looks pretty good.

The suspension is the same no matter what engine you have, just the V6 will be about 1/2" less of a drop. So if you buy a 2/4 it will be more like a 1.5/3.5 :o

I'm okay with that.
I just wanted to make sure that:
A. Everything fit the same. I figured it would, I just wanted to be sure!

B.) I really didn't want any reverse rake
Thanks Again!

Edit: I found one that I like.
It's an Eibach Kit, Pt # 35112.550
2/4 Drop
(So like you said, 1.5/3.5)

2/4 sits with a little rake on the V8s. so even if you buy a 2/4 and its really like a 1.5/4 you will just be level.

That's fine.
I really just want to be lower.
Front Rake or Level is fine; I just wanted to avoid reverse!

:D
