3" body lift + leveling kit = 37's????
I have an 07 harley truck 4x4 and am thinking of the 3" body lift and 2.5 leveling kit. 37's are the smallest size nitto mud grappler for 22's. Before yall start telling me " It will never happen", Let me tell you this. I had an 04 F150 that had clearance issues at 8" of lift but due to my dad owning a body shop we fixed up the back of the fenderwell and the front bumper so that it would clear and it looked great and nobody ever knew there was a lil fabricating done. My question is.... Where will it be rubbing at if i was to go with the 37x13.5x22? I wanna leave my stock 22" harley wheels on there. If you have any other recommendations other than a suspension lift, let me know.
I dont really want to do a suspension lift again really either. I did all that on my last f150 and really dont wanna spend THAT much money again. I ended up having 8 1/2" of front and 9" in the rear. |
I think a body lift on any vehicle looks like ***t much less a harley davidson f150. In my opinion get a suspension lift. After buying the bodylift and paying for install you could have bought a procomp 6" lift.

well ill put the lift on myself again. The procomp lift is how much?
You can find one for $1200-1400
Hell my fabtech was 1575. well anyway... where do you feel i would have the rubbing problems and how severe would they be if i did the body lift and leveling kit.
I'm not gonna say it's impossible but I've never seen it. I'm sure that running 37's on the OEM 22's would result in some rubbing on the control arms at full steering lock. This happens when running 35's on the 17, 18 and 20 inch OEM wheels.
Thats what i was looking for. Rubbing the control arms is more of a issue. I guess i could put wheel spacers on it although i never did like those things.
With 35" toyo A/Ts I needed a 1-1/4 wheel spacer cause they were rubbing EVERYWHERES
if you stick with 37/12.5 A/T tire , you'd have better chances of less rubbing everywhere lol
and also why mud grapplers ? |
i guess cause they just look so mean!!! Every truck i see them on, they look badass. I used to have the 36x15.50x20's claw radials on my other f150 and i liked them too.
