I got these prices of 4wheelparts.com and i will be ordering online and my brother in law will be helping me put them on so i wont have to pay for a body shop. :)

which would be better???

You say you want a Fabtech lift, but the specs you list are for the Pro COmp Stage 1 and Pro Comp Stage 2 lifts.

I agree with Wandell

Your looking at the Pro-comp kits!

The fabtech equivalent is higher priced than the pro-comp as well! It all depends on what your willing to spend and if you can justify getting the coilover kits!

Hope this helps!

Cheers

hahaha my bad yeah i meant the pro comp.

thats way overpriced for a pro comp.

where are you located? someone might be able to refer you to a shop local to get the lift from cheaper. 4wp is always high, check ebay their kits can be had for b/w 1100-1300

The stage 1 kit uses your OEM coilover shocks and a 6 inch spacer. Nothing wrong with this, but the stage 2 kit with the preload adjustable coilovers is better.

Well i live about an hour away from springfield illinois. I dont know of many shops around here but there is one i have went to for a while and im going there soon to see what he can get me. also where would i go to get my truck regeared?? i have the 3.55's and i dont really know what to go to but im sure you guys can help me out with that?

06yz250f 05-02-2009 11:54 AM

for 35's you dont have to re-gear but if you do 4.56 should put you back to about stock gearing. any thing bigger put 4.88's.

i have 3.73's with my 35's and for right now my truck is pleanty quick with my tuner.

Don't mean to hijack...

But does your tuner void your factory warranty? I really want to install one on my 08, but do not want to void the warranty.

So with a procomp stage 2 lift and 35's with 3.55 gears and a tuner would be just fine? it wouldnt dog down would it??

i dont think so, if you set your truck back to stock before bringing it to the dealership they will not know you have a tuner.

I agree.
