2/4 Drop and what size tires?

i'm looking into doing a 2/4 eibach on my '05 reg cab. I currently have 305/45/22 with a 2 in rear shackle. Can I still run these tires or will I need to go smaller? Like a 305/40/22?

how big of a job would it be to install the 2/4 drop? Could I get it done in my garage?

Yes, it's not hard. Just basic hand tools(ratchets, wrenches, etc) , jackstands, and a rented spring compressor from AutoZone. I put a flip kit and coil springs on my truck by myself in one night easy.
