Who is running 33's with a 6" lift?
 

I just ordered my 6" Fabtech, and will have to stay with my BFG 305/16's on 10" Eagle alloys for a while.

Anyone have pictures of a 33's on a 6" lift? My butt is puckering because I don't want it to look like a goofy mistake. It's gotta rock :rocker: or I will hate it.

I had a 3" body lift with a 2.5" space and 33's, it didn't look to bad, over time you will want to go bigger, Heres a pic

I've seen guys with your body style, not sure if they were running the 6" or or something similar to it with 33's, they don't look bad. But I agree with IORf150 you're gonna want bigger.

I think that you're going to regret using 33's, I'm running 35s with just a 3" level kit and it looks pretty well matched, I think 33's under that big of a lift might look a little smaller than you're hoping. Just my .02

Bear in mind this is just a 3" level w/ 35s and they cleared with only 5 minutes of trimming the inner fender lining back about 3"

There is a guy on here(can't remem his name though) that has a maroon King Ranch screw with 6" Fabtech and 33's. I don't think it looks too bad, yes they are a little small with the 6" lift but if thats what you have and need to wear them out first it will work ok and not look stupid. I would love to do one too and I have fairly new set of 33's also. I feel I could live with it.

Wow I really hope you get more replies, I was about to post a thread like this today myself lol. I'm wanting to lift mine as well but I have 32"s and a 2wd and im wondering if its going to look out of place like you are.

Yes you will look very out of place... Sometimes my 35s look small on my 6" fabtech :ll:

You will most likely look out of place but ya know what who cares? Just run the 33's until you have the $ to get the 35's or what evere the case may be. I mean if I had some newer 33's and I put a lift on i wouldnt want to just scratch the 33's and go for 35's. I would wear out the 33's first then step up lol! Just my .02 :thumbsup:

Yeah I have 32's on mine with a 5" lift, and it looks kinda goofy. Going to get bigger tires tomorrow hopefully.

I am hoping my 10" wheels and body style will offset making the tires look too small, until I wear them down. They are too stuffed looking as is. I guess I will go from the stuffed look to the roller skate look.:lol: These are pics when the wheels/tires were brand new:

it all depends on what angle your looking at the truck aha, from a direct sid yes itwill look a bit goofy.

There was a dealer by me about 6 months aago that ha da lifted f150 with an Exile package. 6 " lift and 33's on 20's. they had like 4" of backspacing and the wheels stuck out a good amount and i thought it looked really good, i was going to go with that set up at first. i wish i snapped some pics of it.

Just look at it this way, at least Ford doesn't make em look that way from the factory like Dodge. As stuffed as it looks now I don't think it will look to bad, its not like they're gonna be on there for ever. Post up the pics when you get it done.

By the way, are you're wheels the chrome or polished finish?

Stock wheel/tire, 3'' body lift, 2.5'' leveling kit and 1.5'' add a leaf.

You can't beat that goofy look and in person it's not as bad. The picture really make it look goofy but in person it's ok.

Thats what I did, I mean why waste money on new tires when you already have some.....

im going to be doing this.

my tires are brand new.. im not going to go get new ones when mine are perfectly good.

i was even condiering leaving my spacer on and having 8.5 inches of lift, but i'm not doing that.

now, given all of this i am 2WD.

so i think a 6 inch lift on 33's will look no different than a 4wd with a 6 inch lift on 35's.

seeing as 4wd's can run 35's with just a leveling kit.
