I'm running the XL9000's on my '06. Very nice shocks. I like the fact they are adjustable. I don't switch it up too often, but it is noticeable when I do. I didn't get reservoirs for them.

 

x2. You really can feel it when you adjust them, and its nice to be able to dial in your own comfort. I have never seen anyone with the rancho remote resevoir shocks. I am guessing that they would be best utilized in a off road situation.

 

I haven't asked Rancho yet, but the web site leads you to believe the resi shocks are identical to the XL, just with the addition of the resi.

Here's a question about them...are they gas charged?? Do they extend fully on their own when you cut the strap off? I had hears that some Rancho shocks are not gas charged. I've just always wanted to try an adjustable shock for some odd reason, especially towing. Plus, these should look awesome with a friggin 18mm shaft!

 

Im going with the 9000xl front and rear on my 07. im getting the My Ride controller too. adjust on the fly....
