Where can i find some of these? When I had my AAL put the shop didn't put them back on for some reason. Anyone got any idea? Dealership didn't have any, said they only come on the leaf springs, don't have any individuals.

IMO, I'd be raising hell with the shop that did the install. Or you could try a local sprong shop or PM Kansas Joe to see if he has any.

I think you might be able to get some from 4wheelparts.com. Look under the suspension section and they should have a link for misc. stuff like that. They aren't the OEM ones though. Some other brand that will work just fine and attach in a different manner. They bolt around instead of being presure fit into the leaf lower leaf and just bent around the rest.

I called my spring shop to inquire for you and it sounds like most shops fab them up on the spot. They may not actuall make them ready to go.

The shop you chose may not have the ability to do the fab work so I'd look at a reputable spring shop in your area.

Good luck with it.

Edit: Shouldn't the shop still have your old ones?

Its possible, I have had them on for a few months so its my fault I never looked or noticed the clamps not being on there. The main reason I noticed was because I have a rattle going on in the rear and nothing is loose so I think its the springs moving around or banging together due to not being clamped down.

And the spring shop around here is just as stupid. I went there to get new bolts for the leaf springs and they gave me grade 5 bolts, not grade 8.

4wheelparts.com....

supension link then suspension component link and the clips will be near the bottom of the page. They have them in 2.5" and 3" and the tension fit together. They're $8-$12/pair

Thanks, I ended up finding them. Just don't know how sturdy they will be compared to the pressure fit ones.

They're made by Pro Comp so I think they'd be pretty sturdy.

How sturdy could it be if you don't need some fire and a BFH to get them on?

Thanks for that info man. You know anything about those teflon pads? I was looking on 4wp and cant really determine how much or how big of ones I'd be getting, just has double or single or off-centered.

Ok I think I have found some stock clamps from an f150 in a junkyard, just gotta go check it out after work. Anyone got an idea of how hard it is to take these clamps off, or any helpful info I might could use before I go?

The problem is the factory clips are riveted to the leaf so if you want to take the springs apart you could rerivet another one on there but you'd be just as well off putting on some aluminum quick clips. The clips only purpose is to prevent the springs from moving sideways and with the 04+ double center bolt it's even less likely for the springs to shift but you should still put some on there.

BTW I sell the quick clips for $3 each and I can make you the metal ones if you want as well as the rivets but they're closer to the $10 range each
