Bilstein Heavy Duty Shock's?
A lot of people are running the 5100 series which are more of a long travel, medium duty shock that can also lift the front. I wanted more of a heavy duty shock for the rear of my truck and went with the matching ones up front because my leveling kit is still in good shape and don't plan on lifting the truck any higher. Anybody else running the "Blue and Yellow's" on their truck's? I'm well satisfied with them so far.

PawPaw, I was wondering, how do the HD's ride compared to stock? Are they much firmer, harsh, etc?

Im confused... I was on ebay looking for shocks and saw the Bilstein has two shocks. The Old School yellow and Blue ones (which I thought were the standard duty) and a silver and black one which said can provide a life.
Which is the better shock? I have an 04 150 that I am considering doing the leveling kit to. How can the Silver ones provide a lift? |
