Installing a Leveling Kit

Has anyone read this article? It was in this months issue of ORA.
Leveling an F-150 In Under An Hour

It's a Daystar kit leveling kit. The write up and pictures are nice. They explain everything very well.

Just thought I would share in case anyone is interested. Hope it's not a repost. :coffee:

Only thing I see wrong with it is that you should loosen the upper control arm bolts, they are not slotted and do not affect alignment, it helps for removal of strut and re-installation of the ball joint, also once you have everything installed and vehicle sitting on ground thats when you should tighten upper control arm bolts, then loosen and re-tighten lower control arm bolts so the bushings aren't being stressed all the time from the added lift, they are rubber and will last a lot longer if you do that. You might want to leave the lowers to the alignment shop (much easier on hoist), chances are they will have to loosen them for the alignment anyway, just make sure to ask them even if the alignment is OK, to loosen and tighten them, so the bushings can "center" in the control arm.
