I'm looking to replace my 05 Sport Trac with an F150 Supercrew, and I'm curious what the basic suspension is capable of.
These are a couple of older pictures of my sport trac, with completely stock suspension (3" body lift), and disconnected sway bars...

Thanks
Now that I take the time to look at your Sport Trac and user name... Are you a Mod on Ranger Forums?

I use to have a Ranger...

Not a mod on ranger forums, but I used to post there quite a bit. Only on occasion now. Mostly on explorerforum.com and offroadrangers.com
I had a 98 ranger on 33's, a 97 explorer on 31's and the sport trac.
I bet you'd recognize my ranger...

Damn I miss that truck

That, I will miss. I love slow technical stuff, but since I left Oregon I left all my offroad playgrounds.
The other thing I will miss is seeing the looks on Jeep drivers' faces when I crawl up to them on a Jeep trail. They didn't expect to see a Sport trac with 33's and front and rear lockers on their trails
I hear there are some private offroad parks in Kentucky, but... It's not the same as being in the mountains back home.

I can't wait to get a new truck and start new projects though.
I've found a few used (06-07) FX4 supercrews but the first three were smoked in, a LOT. I finally found one a week ago in Indiana (3.5 hours away), fully loaded red 07 FX4, auto climate control and everything with 27k miles on it. Been dealing with the sales manager on the internet. The first day I had off work I drove up there in the morning. 2.5 hours into the drive the guy calls and said it sold. ugh....

Secondly, man! Way too many mild pics. I know a good number of the trucks on this site see offroad action, but it's mostly just mud. I love going down/up a nice technical trail (if the truck will fit). Although slower, it's a lot more fun for me.

I'll try and get some pics within a couple weeks!
Ill take trails and "dry" offroading anyday! Its the mudd i hate, then i have to thoroughly clean the truck...

Oh yeah! I remember that Ranger. Good lookin' truck, love the bumper. I'm sure you'll find a Screw FX4 to your liking.
